Feedback is a kind of transaction history that lets you see what others have said about dealing with a certain Sofishare member in order to help you make up you mind about whether you feel comfortable dealing with that member yourself. Even after listing your car on Sofishare, you can always decline a request for a reservation.
After a vehicle sharing transaction between you and another Sofishare member is finished, the next time you log in to the Sofishare site there will be a reminder for you that you have feedback to write. By clicking on this link, you will be taken to a page where you can write about your experience, add the other member to your "approved list" or "blocked list" of renters, give that member a "flower" if your experience is especially positive, and also note, for the benefit of other members, whether their driving documents (license or vehicle inspection) were in good order.
As soon as any Sofishare member confirms your request for a reservation of their car, each of you becomes eligible to leave feedback for the other - even if the deal gets canceled. The reason for this is to encourage people to take their carsharing deals seriously. If someone reserves your car for a week, then cancels 10 minutes before picking it up, that has important consequences for you.
Sofishare uses a unique feedback system that makes your feedback invisible to the member you are leaving feedback about until that member has written their feedback about you or their window for writing feedback expires, which is one week after the end of the rental.
